I have been on a brilliant adventure today. To help me with my loose hips, my Humums said I should go to something called “Hydrotherapy”. That is a posh word for paddling on a treadmill.😂

I trotted off well with the hydrotherapist and my Humums were pleasantly surprised, as I can be a bit shy with new people, but I liked Shelby 😁.

I was very wiggly when they tried to measure my muscles in my back legs..no surprise there, I love wiggling. 😂

I was a little nervous of the treadmill as it made some strange noises when it filled up with water and then started moving, but Shelby helped me. I quickly learnt that the sides of the treadmill didn’t move 🤣.

Shelby and all at the vets fell in love with me❤ and she said I did ok for my first session, considering my Humums couldn’t go in with me. I did zoomies at the end 🤣🤣🤣

I am hoping to have some more sessions as I think I will be more relaxed in there next time and they can get working on building up my muscles.

I am very tired now and dreaming of going paddling again next week.

My Humum’s have been noticing that I don’t always put the full weight through my back left leg, so they took me to The Doggy Doctors. The Doggy Doctor said she agreed with my Mum’s and that they needed to have a closer look to see what was going on, so I went in for some x rays today.

They said my knees and hocks were fine, but my left hip joint was a bit loose, and causing the ball to slip and slide about a bit. They keep talking about a person called “a physio” who will help build up the muscle mass around my joint to keep it tighter.

I didn’t feel very well after the visit to the Doggy Doctors and didn’t want to get out of Kate’s van she we got home. Kate carried me in and a have been sleeping lots every since.

It’s been a long day. 😥

I didn’t understand why my sisters Gem and Roxy were so excited about this white stuff falling from the sky. It was snow. I tried to catch it on my tongue.

It just kept falling from the sky. I soon realised that it was great fun.

I played and played and played with my sisters.

and played…

and played some more, even in the dark.

It was still there the following day. So Humum, Kate took me up the park to train, well that is what she calls it. I call it playing.

I would just like to say.

I LOVE THE SNOW

I have been a very busy puppy recently. My humum Kate, has been playing with me, live on Facebook. Well I call it playing, Kate calls it training.

I have also been playing on my walks and discovered big sandy play areas. I loved running around in them. Kate said when we get out of Lockdown then maybe we could go somewhere called ‘a beach’ . She thinks I will like the beach

I have also had a lovely walk with another puppy spaniel. I really enjoyed running around with her.

All this working and playing, means I like to sleep snuggled on the sofa.

Apparently today is my 6 month Birthday. We went out for a lovely walk with my sisters and my friend Millie and Oscar. I hadn’t seen them for ages.

I had a a lovely time running around with my friends. My Humum Kate said she wanted some nice pictures of me on my Half Birthday.

I went for the cute, puppy look to start with.

Then I decided I would try the very noble Mr Skip look. I think I pulled it off.🤣

When I got home I was very tired and decided I would see what it was like sleeping on the arm of the settee.

I loved Christmas, lots of new toys and a very tasty Christmas dinner.

My HuMum Kate has told me today, that I have a very posh Kennel Club name. Apparently if you ever want to compete in any of the Kennel Club sports like agility or Flyball and you don’t have pedigree papers, then your HuMum gets to pick a name for you and you get put on the Activities Register.

Well my Kennel Club name is……wait for it…..

MR SKIP THE HUBSTER

This morning I went to work with my Humum Kate. I did some playing, (Kate calls it training.) I played at staying close to her and then we played with my favourite tuggy toy.

I also got to play with the lovely Ella and Jack. Jack was so fast I couldn’t catch him, but it was great fun trying. Everytime I went back to Kate, I got a scrummy treat. I think she calls this a recall. I call it “awesome fun”.

This afternoon I got to do some more playing at ” awesome fun ” when I went out for a walk with my sisters Roxy and Gem. I really enjoyed “Spanieling ” in the long grass.

Humum Kate has also started to play some scentwork games with me too, which I really love 💘

I have had a very busy day today. Humum Kate took me and my sisters out for another fab walk.

Then I went Christmas Shopping at ‘”Go Outdoors” It was awesome in there. So much to see, like tents, bikes, clothes and shoes. The lovely staff made me very welcome with some tummy rubs.

I even got to play on a wooden slope there too.

I also got to play up at my Humum’s field today with Gem. We ran hard and fast. I love chasing her.

I also have lost some of my baby teeth now. Gem said she was very pleased about that, but I do still have one of my fangs left.

Its been a lovely out and about day.

Today my Humum Kate, took me and my sisters for a woodland walk. I LOVED IT. There were so many things to check out and explore. Once again every time I went back to Kate she gave me a treat.

Kate tried to take a group photo of us all, but I was just so excited for exploring I found it hard to stay still.

But I just about managed it.

Some thing really strange happened at home today too. While I was sleeping and dreaming about my fab walk, this weird tree, with lots of lights and glittery stuff on it appeared . I think the tree is called “Leave it” as that is what my Humum’s say when I go near it. I got lots of treats for sitting still near it, so I think that is what I shall do a lot of rather than try and eat it.

It was very misty out today and my Humum Kate took be to a different puppy class this morning, it was outside and a bit chilly. She said it would be good for me to learn in as many different places as possible.

Kate was very pleased with me, as I focused really well on her. Well she still feeds me treats when I look at her, so why wouldn’t I.😁

While we are training, well I call it playing, a horse came by, really close. I wasn’t afraid, and Kate rewarded me with more treats .

I did some great recall work and focusing around the other pups and we finished the puppy class with a noise box. I loved it and wasn’t afraid of the noise. To be fair, It was just like a big food bowl with noisy stuff in it.

I am really liking this thing called “Training”. When can we go again Kate?
