All about me
Hi, my name is Kate Lamacraft and I have a owned and trained my dogs for 25 years. I have passed my practical IABTC instructing pet dog owners course with a distinction and theory with merit, and I have passed my Agility 1st Trainer qualification, accredited by Agility 1st. Both these dog training companies are preferred Kennel Club educational providers. I have continued to develop my dog training skills and in March 2018 passed my Pro Dog Trainer course, followed in March 2020 by Pro dog Geek course. I am also a UK Scentwork qualified trainer and UK Snifferdogs Instructor. I also hold a canine first aid qualification and human 1st aid certificate.
I am a fully qualified teacher of 25 years and I currently teach PE and Computing in a middle school in Central Bedfordshire.
I own three rescue dogs, Alfie, Roxy and Gem. Alfie is a collie x husky, Roxy is a collie x golden retriever and Gem is also a collie X. I compete with both Roxy (Grade 6) and Gem ( Grade 5) in Agility competitions. Alfie is retired from competing but made it to Grade 4.
The Canine Hub has been a dream for many years, to provide a dog training center, where handler and dog can learn in a force free, positive reward based training environment. Building a bond between you and your canine best friend as you learn together, meeting other like minded people.
